Day 2 of the actual presentations. As expected, medyo mas konti yung mga um-attend today, especially for the customers (8 lang sila). I did my bit in a more intimate setting (roundtable-style with served breakfast) so medyo ni-tone down ko yung theatrics ng konti.
Hehe. So dun lang ako sa Queen Street, which has the malls and some shops. Nakakita ako ng Borders so syempre pumasok ako. Hehe. Bumili ng konting magazines. Okay, three is not really konti.
Mas feel ko ang climate sa Brisbane. Parang Manila in December lang so bright/sunny but not hot tapos malamig ang simoy ng hangin. Sabi ko sa sarili ko kung titira ako sa Australia baka sa Brisbane na lang. Parang laid back ang mga tao but still feel mo na medyo modern na rin. Kung magtayo lang sila ng theaters a la Melbourne, all the better (I still sulk at the fact I missed Wicked). Plus, malapit sya sa Gold Coast.
Nung hapon I again did my presentation for the partners. Wala masyadong questions. Feedback was that again I delivered a good presentation. Which is...good. Hehe. Yay! The eclairs during the coffee break were amazing.
Nagpaalam ako ng maaga after my bit para bumalik sa hotel to do some email checking (hindi libre ang WiFi sa Hilton Brisbane where the conference was held -- unlike in Sydney). Also finally tried the jacuzzi bath with bath salts. Very relaxing.
Nag-boys night out with the...boys. That meant kain ng dinner (steak ulit for me) tapos nagyaya sila mag-beer sa isang bar. I ordered a glass of guiness (mapait pero masarap din naman), na naging isa't kalahati (may maliit na baso kasi) at isang vodka with Sprite cocktail. Hehe. Lumamig ng bongga nung midnight. Good thing I was wearing two shirts (o di ba naka-layer). Tinanong ako what's with the two shirts. Sabi ko that's the "in" thing now in Manila. Pinuna rin ang aking "fluoride pink" shirt. Hehe. That is, mukha raw toothpaste ang pagka-pink ng shirt ko. Naks! Daig pa ko sa pag-name ng colors -- hot pink lang sya for me eh, and this despite the fact na I have the tendency to be a know-it-all about color names.
