singapore sct, day 2

Showtime.

Well, technically the showtime is after lunch at 1PM sa bonggang-bonggang bagong Resorts World sa Sentosa. Which is why I opted nga to check in sa hotel in the island, kesa pa-book ako somewhere sa CBD. Of course, by doing so medyo na-miss ko ang half ng mga tourist-y things that I can do kung nasa city ako. Then again, shirtless men on the man-made beach trumps tourist-y stuff any day. :P

May free breakfast buffet so mega-take advantage naman ako (masarap pala ang chipolata). Slight katangahan: checking in on a resort hotel without bringing any resort-worthy stuff, like--hello!--swim shorts *rolls eyes*. Which was funnier later that day when I went downstairs dressed in a suit. HAHAHAHAHA! Sabay naki-angkas sa tram na puro naka-tsinelas and tank top lang.

(BTW, nakapainit sa SG. Mas mainit pa sa Pinas. I guess the equator thing does make a difference.)

Anyhoo, during breakfast, may na-sight akong hot daddy so medyo nagmaganda ako ng konti. Hehe! Pero I guess di ganun ka-obvious (come to think of it, my idea of flirting was just making eye contact and pseudo-stalking... eh fail din ako pati dun minsan) kasi wa-epek. *shrugs* Bumalik sa room to prep myself up. My mock presentation a couple of days before went well naman pero syempre super nervous ako. Then it was time to go.

Nahirapang hanapin ang convention center sa laki ng Resorts World (3 hotels, not counting the Universal Studios). So medyo haggard na rin ako pagdating sa venue. Good thing maaga ang call time so medyo nag-attempt mag-freshen up. Dala ko ang pastillas, BTW. Kelangang mabigay sa Pinoy Trender (whom I finally met) ang pastillas!

Dumating yung ibang Trender speakers, some of which I was pleased to see again (I was also pleased na kilala pa nila ako). Nagpakilala sa mga di ko kakilala. Kumain ng mga pica-pica and waited for the event to start.

Naloka ako sa reception, which is basically non-existent. LOL! Tahimik masyado ang crowd. Walang reaction whatsoever. Or questions. As in. Di ko tuloy alam if I did well. Sana. Although later on I will see na may nagbigay sakin ng 2 out of 5 rating? Seriously? :(

After the event, sumama ako sa dinner sponsored by the Marketing team sa isang resto sa Hard Rock Hotel. Masarap ang food in fairness -- na-addict sa mini burgers and dun sa chocolates (cakes etc.) sa dessert line. Tapos ilang oras na chikahan. Medyo na-OP ng slight. LOL! Halos 9PM na ko nakaalis (at di pa tapos ang chikahan nun ha), so most of my planned sightseeing were scrapped. Kinabukasan na lang bago lumipad pauwi.

There was one place I was curious to go to though (maski pricey). :P Hehe! So ayun. Lumandi until midnight. ;) HAHAHAHAHA! Parang cinderella lang!
