Jessica Zafra already posted David Sedaris' answer to a question I posted in her blog:

8. How do you feel about being a gay icon? (PJ)
"I'm not gay enough." He notes that only about 10 percent of the audience at his readings is gay. When he was starting out, he was approached by activists about tackling gay rights issues, and he did try, but it didn't come naturally to him so he felt like a phony.

Yay! Many thanks to Ms. Zafra. ^_^ Hehe. I was sure I wouldn't have the nerve to ask David that question personally. Given my shenanigans and booboos the past couple of days, I was right.
